Compass 1.2.12 released!

Changelog

  • Maybe fixed a problem with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy S4. This devices have software bug inside the sensor classes. I have implemented a workarround for this devices that should solve the problem.
  • FIXED: Fixed a problem with the time measuring classes that caused the app to crash at startup.
  • FIXED: Fixed a problem that prevented the links for the references of resources used in this app to work.

Compass 1.2.11 released!

Changelog

The most important change in this version is the heavily improved performance. The compass is now more efficient and uses less memory. This should result in a more fluent compass arrow.

  • Added a link to the ad-free pro version of this amazing compass.
  • Fixed: The old compass window was not closed after rotating the device resulting in a OutOfMemoryException after some rotations.
  • Fixed: Share menu caused errors with some entries.
  • Calibration dialog at startup has now the Holo design on Android systems with Holo-Theme
  • Changed the labels for the sensor precision in the settings. They are now easy understandable and indicate which one uses more energy.
  • A lot of other changes in the backend
  • Fixed: Action bar icons were too big. Resized the icons.
  • Fixed: “Stop close” dialog on startup
